Logotype

Ingeniería del Agua, has as acronym IA. It is a company specialized in the project development for the sustainable use of water resources to benefit humanity and their environment.

The logo that identifies IA consists of a wave, representing the energy associated with water and is amplified to form the letter A (The waveform is generated through the Fourier transform). The dark blue color identifies the purity of the water and the obligation that every human being has to return the water resource in the same conditions in which it receives it from nature.

The letter A is completed with a green tie ending in a drop, to introduce the concept of hydrological cycle. The arc with the drop, represent the I, which is the first letter of "Ingeniería", which means application of scientific knowledge to the benefit of humanity, respecting the environment. The colour green introduces the concept generated in the late twentieth century "Agua Verde", which in the crisis of water scarcity is experienced worldwide, identifies the water contained in plant and animal products.

The amplified wave interprets the importance and power of water in the life of man, and the drop shows how small amounts of water can be essential in certain areas of the universe to guarantee life as it is known today. At the bottom of the logo, the name of the company is presented in extenso including the letters SRL Limited Liability Company. In this way the nature of the institution is well defined. The format of the text conveys the solidity of IA and the black colour represents the seriousness in the fulfilment of contracted obligations.

The logo as a whole, used in the period 1999 - 2016, is characterized by its clarity and transparency, to thereby continuously remember the officials of IA and those who relate to the company that their daily actions must be honest , for the benefit of their peers.

During all these years, in order to ensure the long-term viability of the developed engineering projects, in coordination with the stakeholders of these projects, it was necessary to define an agreed institutional framework. This activity in all cases demanded long negotiation processes, where it has been possible to observe the exalted outcrop of frustrations repressed for centuries. The living experiences, which in many cases can be cataloged as imaginary, in the sense of the application of complex variable analysis (operations between complex numbers, sometimes give real results and other times the imaginary component is maintained), has led to stylize the wave generated with the Fourier transform.
